| Ram Systems was formed in early 2010 and is based in Brisbane, Australia. Neale Sutton and John Miller, in partnership, founded Ram Systems. Both founders of Ram Systems believe there is a strong demand, both nationally and internationally, for providers of quality engineering services in the field of asset management. Major project investment in the next decade will require due diligence from corporates to prove to investors that their capital has been invested effectively, and that returns are maximised. Increasingly, the focus is on the whole-of-life investment in production assets, rather than simply on up-front investment. Outsourcing the due dilligence study has several advantages:
Neale SuttonNeale has 20 years engineering experience, across a range of industries including manufacturing, mining, food and process plant, working for industry leaders such as Meadow Lea Foods, BHP Billiton, and Rio Tinto Alcan. In addition to maintenance strategy consulting work, Neale has worked as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Engineer, Business Improvement Engineer and Design Engineer. These roles have provided experience and skills in Maintenance and Asset Management, Defect Elimination, and plant reliability and optimisation analysis using simulation software. Neale has experience in Six Sigma process and facilitation, and has also been involved in risk assessment and the use of codes and standards to manage risk. He has training and experience in Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
John Miller
John is a degree qualified mechanical engineer with maintenance and design engineering experience. He has a 15 year track record in the management of physical assets to achieve outputs of enterprises. His experience ranges from achieving plant capacity and plant performance gains through reliability engineering techniques through developing maintenance strategies for preventing / mitigating equipment functional failures. In addition, John has also worked in maintenance management systems improvement and planning. His work history ranges from ‘hands on’ to conceptual and engineering feasibility in a range of industries including nuclear power, natural gas, mining and manufacturing. |
